Press Ganey to Partner with Boston Children's Hospital
Top Children's Hospital Chooses Leading Patient Experience Firm for Pediatric Solutions
Boston, February 17, 2015 /KidZNewswire/ -- Press Ganey announced today it has signed a multi-year agreement with Boston Children's Hospital, a leading pediatric hospital, to capture and assess patient and family experience data through the newly created Child Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (Child HCAHPS) hospital survey.
The Child HCAHPS initiative was funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). "As the institution that developed and field tested Child HCAHPS, we look forward to using these measures to more fully understand essential needs and preferences of children and their families," said Laura J. Wood, DNP, MS, RN Senior Vice President, Patient Care Operations and Chief Nursing Officer at Boston Children's Hospital.
